Joseph Huang is a Partner at L.E.K. Consulting. Based in Taipei, Joseph’s primary focus areas are in financial services (corporate and retail banking strategy, wealth management and risk management), where he advises clients on strategies to deliver value and facilitate organizational change amid complex business environments. His expertise in risk modeling also facilitates relevant project works that not only involves process and policy redesign but also focuses on tackling challenges in implementation phases. In addition, Joseph has been invited as a guest speaker at Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance (TABF) as well as Financial Supervisory Committee (Taiwan).
Joseph’s work has a significant emphasis on the role of data analytics across different aspects of banking front-office business, including customer segmentation, product innovation and channel management. Also, much of his experience cuts across the middle- and back-office functions such as risk management and compliance. Joseph has substantial experience in strategy, data analytics, post-merger integrations, and performance management projects across the Greater China and Southeast Asia markets.
Prior to joining L.E.K. in 2024, Joseph worked in global consulting firms based in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan for almost 20 years. He holds a B.S. degree in Information Management from National Taiwan University. He also holds globally recognized professional certificates including Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR).
